尽管如此世界依然美丽的剧情介绍,个性活泼开朗的妮可（前田玲奈 配音）是雨之国的公主，身为家中最年幼的孩子，她却拥有着不输于任何人的好胜性格。在和姐姐们的游戏之中，妮可成为了输家，因此被迫嫁给了太阳王里维斯（岛崎信长 配音）。 <br /> 　　在市井传说之中，里维斯是一个仅用了短短三年就称霸了世界的可怕男人，然而，当妮可亲眼见到里维斯之时，却惊讶的发现，他只不过是一个年仅十二岁的男孩。就这样，妮可和里维斯的“夫妻生活”开始了。日子没过多久，妮可和里维斯之间就爆发了重重的矛盾，但随着时间的推移，两人却都从对方身上找到了温暖与信任，两颗孤单的心灵越靠越近。
