35mm胶片版，Saturday Night Fever后Disco狂热继续，音乐的意义大于松散故事本身；现在后悔为什么2月份Jeff Goldblum作品展时候没多去看他几部片子（没记错这就是周五放映的）,红夹克高佬果然好帅！另片中只有寥寥几处变装的镜头，非要和queer扯上关系勉强也说得过去....
CC最近放出的“70年代时尚偶像”合辑居然没有《周末夜狂热》，但收录了这部关于迪斯科文化的片子。迪厅派对气氛营造的还行，也有几个高光场景（墨西哥人在车顶上跳舞、Donna Summer唱歌、烂车无厘头式解体等），但故事很贫乏，而且角色过多；很多角色设计套路且表演过火（收垃圾的男人太讨厌了），砍掉一半完全没压力。
可以边看边跳的电影
歌都好听，文化意义比较重要，展现了Disco文化刚刚兴起的周五热闹舞厅文化。当然Disco女皇Donna Summer的客串也是一大亮点了。
