第二三集上映于同一年，并且第三部结尾有和日本戏份联动的场景，可以确定两部是套拍，但比起第二集玩儿的这么过瘾的东瀛人民，这一集的小镇保卫战就属于过家家式的胡闹了，除了开场的录像店和几处变身场景能给人留下点印象，后半程的对决简直是灾难。考夫曼老爷子估计是专门安排了开头录像店打劫戏份来嘲讽当时抵制特罗马电影的那批人。
